I have a developer that installed VS 2015 and reported that after the install and a reboot the icons for windows application change to a generic icon and he's unable to access certain Windows functions like Windows Features and Windows Updates
I logged in as myself. The icons looked fine on my profile. I uninstalled VS 2015 and reinstalled. As soon as the installation completed my icons for applications like Calculator, Notepad, Remote Desktop, etc. were generic. I was, however, was able to access Windows Updates and Windows Features without error.
He's running Windows 7, and has VS 2008, VS 2010, and now VS 2015 install.
Has anyone experienced this before?
